Factory Reset a Nano-PC (USB Mouse)

These steps will help users Factory Reset both Nano-PC2 / Nano-PC3 devices using a USB Mouse.

Configuration requires any standard Wired USB Mouse or Wireless USB Mouse (not included).

This should only be done when instructed by a Kuusoft Support Team member.  After the Factory Reset has completed, all of your settings and files will be deleted from the Nano-PC device.

You will then need to Configure the Wi-Fi on your Nano-PC and provide a Pairing Code to Kuusoft Support Team member.

  1. Setup your Nano-PC - How to Setup your Nano-PC

  2. Connect a USB mouse or a Wireless Keyboard Mouse Combo

    1. Wired Mouse (Good) - insert the USB adapter into the Nano-PC device (located on the bottom beside the Power Cable)

       

       


    2. Wireless Mouse (Better) - insert the USB Dongle into the Nano-PC device (located on the bottom beside the Power Cable)

       


    3. Wireless Keyboard Mouse Combo (Best) - insert the USB Dongle into the Nano-PC device (located on the bottom beside the Power Cable)

       


  3. Wait until the NexSigns App launches and press the Right Mouse Button to launch the NexSigns Engineer Menu

     
     


  4. Left Click on the Factory Reset button 10 times in a row quickly. 

     
     


  5. Your Nano-PC device will now Factory Reset

     

After the Factory Reset has completed, you will need to Configure the Wi-Fi on your Nano-PC and provide a 6 Digit Pairing Key to a Kuusoft Support Team member.

  2. Connect a USB mouse or a Wireless Keyboard Mouse Combo

    1. Wired Mouse (Good) - insert the USB adapter into the Nano-PC device (located on the bottom beside the Power Cable)

       

       


    2. Wireless Mouse (Better) - insert the USB Dongle into the Nano-PC device (located on the bottom beside the Power Cable)

       


    3. Wireless Keyboard Mouse Combo (Best) - insert the USB Dongle into the Nano-PC device (located on the bottom beside the Power Cable)

       


  3. Scroll to the top of the screen and drag the menu bar down

     


    1. Click on the status bar, and drag it downwards

       


    2. Click on the Settings Menu Bar to expand it



    3. Click on the Settings button




  4. Click on Backup & reset



  5. Click on Factory data reset



  6. Click on Reset MBX



  7. Click on Erase Everything



  8. Your Nano-PC3 will now Factory Reset
