For each update release, you will see related version number and patch release type. For example

Patch Type Definition

• Alpha

  • This patch type is mainly used during development and not available for public

• Beta

  • This patch type is mainly used during the testing phase and only conditionally available to the public under the critical scenario

• CTP (Community Tech Preview)

  • This patch type is mainly used between testing phase and release phase. Typically it is stable build but not available to the public except under certain scenario with approval

• Release

  • This patch is stable build and publicly available
