Determine the MAC Address of the Wi-Fi Adapter on a Nano-PC4

These steps will help users determine the MAC Address of the Wi-Fi Adapter on both Nano-PC4 devices using a USB Mouse.

Configuration requires any standard Wired USB Mouse or Wireless USB Mouse (not included).

This article is intended for Expert Users trying to accomplish any of the following Advanced Network Configurations

Determine the MAC Address from your Wireless Router

Steps 3 - 5 will vary slightly depending on the model of your Wireless Router.

  1. Setup your Nano-PC4 - How to Setup your Nano-PC4

  2. Connect the Nano-PC4 to your Wi-Fi - How to Configure the Wi-Fi Settings on a Nano-PC4 (USB Mouse)

  3. Login to the administration page of your Router

  4. View the connected Device List and find the Nano-PC device

  5. View the MAC address of the Nano-PC4

Determine the MAC Address from the Nano-PC4 device

  1. Setup your Nano-PC4 - How to Setup your Nano-PC4 (Wi-Fi)

  2. Connect a Wired Mouse, Wireless Mouse, or a Wireless Keyboard Mouse Combo

    1. Wired Mouse (Good) - insert the Wired Mouse into the included USB-C Adapter, then insert the USB-C Adapter into the Side USB-C Port of the Nano-PC4

       

       
       
       
       


    2. Wireless Mouse (Better) - insert the USB Dongle into the included USB-C Adapter, then insert the USB-C Adapter into the Side USB-C Port of the Nano-PC4

       
       
       


    3. Wireless Keyboard Mouse Combo (Best) - insert the USB Dongle into the included USB-C Adapter, then insert the USB-C Adapter into the Side USB-C Port of the Nano-PC4

       
       
       



  3. Wait until the NexSigns App launches and press the Right Mouse Button to launch the NexSigns Engineer Menu

     
      


  4. Left Click on the System Settings.



  5. Left Click on Device Preferences



  6. Left Click on the Status

     

  7. Here you will find the MAC Address of your Nano-PC4
