Versioning Information

To ensure a unified experience across all platforms, we’ve changed the versioning format. This release will be the last release on NX-A/NX-AT/NX-N with a version showing {Major}.{Minor}.{Patch}.{Build}. Any future releases will use the unified package versioning with versions showing {Major}.{Minor}.{Build} across all platforms.

In Android 8.0 (API 26 and above), Google placed limitations on what apps can do while users aren't directly interacting with them. These limitations affect implicit broadcast receivers such as  Boot Completed events. Because of these limitations, you might have difficulties registering a Boot Completed on newer versions of Android.

 

 

 

 

Updated the behavior on auto-start/auto-reboot after the NexSigns application completes the update

  • NexSigns installed via Google Playstore (NX-A / NX-AT) will auto-start for all supported manufacturer firmware build.

  • NexSigns installed natively on Nano-PC (NX-N) will have the same reboot behavior after update is installed.
